Take your time
Privacy
The app does not collect any personal data.
What you write — tasks, notes, projects, trips and your name — is saved in a file in the app's private area on this device. The app has no server, and you do not need an account to use it.
If you enable Calendar sync, task titles, notes and dates are copied to the “Task and Ideas” calendar on your iPhone. iOS may then sync them with the Calendar account you use, such as iCloud. The app's developer does not receive this data. Task and Ideas accesses Calendar only with your permission; you can revoke it in iOS Settings.
If you choose to receive reminders, task titles and dates are passed to your iPhone's notification system, which displays them at the scheduled time. They remain on your device and the app's developer does not receive them. Task and Ideas sends notifications only with your permission; you can revoke it in iOS Settings.
There are no usage analytics, tracking tools or ads.
Because your data is stored only here, two things are important to know. First, if you uninstall the app or lose the device, data stored only in the app is lost with it; it is wise to export it from time to time. Second, notes, projects and trips do not automatically appear on your other devices. Only tasks can be copied to Calendar, if you enable that feature.
If you turn on the Face ID lock, it prevents someone holding your phone from opening the app. It is not a vault: the data file remains on the device, protected by iOS system protections and not by any additional encryption from the app.
